November snow in Charlton

Slow going around and about today, with wrecked train services and slushy roads – the 380 bus service diverted away from its usual route, despite the attention of the council’s gritters on Charlton Lane and Charlton Church Lane. But it was all still very… pretty.

It’s a bit less pretty down in the Delafield Road/ Inverine Road area, where Greenwich Council’s street sweepers rarely venture – the pavements are a mixture of snow, slush, and old leaves that haven’t been collected yet. Not nice.

Well done Darryl – great to see pictures of the snow around SE7 without having to schlep out for ourselves!
